Summer Sun Care
Dear ladies
These are unusual and strange times, yet we must mind ourselves and our skin with kindness. The positive side to this lockdown is we that have time to look after our skin.
Sun protection is the key for glowing skin .
The sun and UV rays have the most damaging effects on the skin. The damage caused by UVB radiation is mainly in the cells of the epidermis where sunburn appears.
The more numerous and more penetrating UVA rays create localized alterations ,primarily in the dermis ,which results in the formation of visible wrinkles on the surface of the skin .
Low frequency infrared radiation penetrates deeper into the dermis and generates free radicals that cause more severe damage to the DNA of the skin cells especially epidermal stem cells ,and contributes to photoageing .
WHAT SPF SHOULD YOU USE ?
We are not all equal with regard to the sun.Skin colour and skin sensitivity define what factor to use .
Here are some products I love to use and recommend.
